The Beauty Edition: Spring Scent

Perfume plays a key role in my ‘outfit of the day’, i feel naked without a good spritz. I’m a lover of warm, spicy scents and i do like something quite strong but now we are coming out of the colder months i sway towards a lighter more sweet smell. The sun is creeping out slowly and us British folk are all for that, sandals (and socks, for some) at the ready. I want an ice cream in one hand and a bottle of perfume in another. I treated myself and splurged on a huge 100ml bottle of Love Struck by Vera Wang.   Firstly the bottle,…

The Food Edition: Healthy Courgette Noodles

I’ve been seeing these green curls of goodness everywhere at the moment all thanks to the likes of Deliciously Ella, Madeline Shaw and other pro health bloggers. Courgette spaghetti, courgette noodles, zoodles or which ever you would like to name them are the new ‘spag bowl’ for the health conscious. Now, i’m not overly strict about eating healthy (my chocolate addiction doesn’t help with this) but i am moving more towards the vegetarian side of eating and these are the perfect introduction. There are some super fancy spiralizers on the market at the moment and I’ve been eyeing up the Helmsley and Helmsley one for a while…

The Beauty Edition: Red Hair Don’t Care

Hands up, when it comes to hair care it’s not high up on my priority list. I’ve been all colours you could possibly imagine from black to pink but for the past two years my hair has been bleached blonde with a few pastel washes here and there which you might already know if you have read my Peach Perfection post. The up keep for bleached hair is intense, it’s a painful monthly process which is funny because a trip to the hairdressers should be relaxing not nail biting. I would often leave the salon with a numb backside from a three hour sit, a sore scalp from root…

The Fashion Edition: Duffle Bag

When you’re a female it’s an unwritten rule that you can never have too many shoes or handbags, it’s almost like us ladies give each other the nod when we’re in the shop to say ‘go on girl, you deserve it’. I recently replaced my beloved worn out fringed back pack with the new trend of the moment, a duffle bag. I have seen these everywhere and i think they are the new spring/summer fashion accessory. The shape of the bag is the selling point for me, totally deceiving, bundles of space inside but closed up with a toggle to look neat and tidy. I have been lusting…

The Food Edition: A View From The 31st Floor

Everyone loves a Bank Holiday weekend, it’s a great opportunity to venture somewhere new and try something different. Myself and my friend Tiffany, blogger of tiffanytales, took a trip into the big city to sip on some cocktails. London is a place i go often, it’s so easy to hop on a train as it’s just a half hour journey from me. London is usually perceived as fast paced, on the go, non-stop and not a place you would go to relax. True to some extent but we stumbled across a place famous for relaxing and watching the world go by, literally. The Shard is breathtaking, surrounded…
