The Beauty Edition: Birchbox Review

My highlight of the day is when the postman knocks at my door with a parcel i have been eagerly waiting for. I signed up to my first Birchbox and i recently received my monthly May package in the post. If you love trying out new products then this subscription is just for you, you get a minimum of 5 samples to test delivered right to your door for a tenner! The Restaurant Edition: Loch Fyne, St. Albans

Calling all seafood lovers, if you haven’t tried Loch and Fyne already then i suggest you do. For those of you that have heard of this restaurant then you will know that it’s a chain but before you decide not to carry on reading please know that this should not put you off. I have been finding other sources to pack in the protein and Rainbow Bowls are a way of tucking into some delicious goodness. These bowls are a fantastic lunch idea and not only are they quick to throw together but super nourishing too when the…

The Beauty Edition: Spring Scent

Perfume plays a key role in my ‘outfit of the day’, i feel naked without a good spritz. I’m a lover of warm, spicy scents and i do like something quite strong but now we are coming out of the colder months i sway towards a lighter more sweet smell. The sun is creeping out slowly and us British folk are all for that, sandals (and socks, for some) at the ready. I want an ice cream in one hand and a bottle of perfume in another. I treated myself and splurged on a huge 100ml bottle of Love Struck by Vera Wang.   Firstly the bottle,…
