The Fashion Edition: Topshop Tassles

Details: Top – Topshop Jeans – Topshop  Sliders – Primark Handbag – Pull & bear from ASOS  I’m all for a chic Parisian inspired look just grab a Breton t-shirt, pair it with skinny jeans, add a classic red lip and voilà you have a super stylish outfit with minimal effort. I’m partial to a stripe (wardrobe is full of em’) they can really turn a casual outfit into a statement one (hair roots are optional). Crochet is also going to be super big this summer and as Vogue recently claimed ‘much like florals’ and my top from Topshop is the perfect mix of both. Stripes, crotchet and tassels…

The Favourites Edition: May 2015

I have raved about my Birchbox to death now and it’s pretty obvious that some of it’s contents were going to make there way into my favourites post this month. I dedicated a post solely to the Nude ProGenius Treatment Oil, so if you want to read more about that then just have a peek back on my post as i’m still loving this. Another product i have been a little obsessed with from the box is a nail varnish, surprisingly a pastel nude colour, i say surprisingly as i’m a classic red girl when it comes to nails and lips. The Food Edition: Thrift Farm, Whaddon

In need of last minute bank holiday plans? Want to occupy the kids but don’t want to spend a fortune? If you have weather on your side (sadly not guaranteed) there are some fantastic places to spend the bank holiday without blowing the budget. The Beauty Edition: Nude Pro Genius Treatment Oil

I have had my beloved Birchbox for a couple of weeks now and I’ve really had to hold myself back from using everything all at once. I have sampled a few of the products and there is already a front runner for me and that’s the Pro Genius Treatment Oil from Nude. I was intrigued and a little bit frightened by this product as soon as i pulled it out from the box. I was ready to give this sample a miss, i have mentioned before that i have quite oily skin and i just thought ‘nope, disaster waiting to happen’. I left the sample for a few…

The Breakfast Edition: Groundworks, Hitchin

Been searching for that perfect vegetarian breakfast? Look no further, head down to The Groundworks in Hitchin, my lovely local market town. Although, if the thought of leaving your bed before midday on Sunday fills you with dread then don’t worry, brunch is served until 3pm. I have been here a handful of times, anywhere that serves pancakes with gorgeous fruity toppings can’t keep me away! Since cutting out meat i have struggled to find somewhere that offers anything past beans on toast. The Groundworks have a menu to drool over from savoury to sweet treats. On a recent trip i devoured a full vegetarian breakfast which…
