The Lifestyle Edition: Organised Blogging

Holding down a Monday to Friday typical nine to five job whilst blogging is tough! Luckily i’m an extremely organised person, this follows through to planning my blog posts too. I blog on the go, i’ll catch a couple of spare minutes on my lunch break to edit photos, any chance that i can get i’m putting a post together. I wanted to share my top three tips for getting organised when blogging. A blog planner is probably the first essential. You can buy some gorgeous hardbacks and i’m on the hunt for the perfect one. I use printable pages from Etsy, they have so many free…

The Favourites Edition: July 15

So, this months favourites probably seem a little vain as it’s very much skin care and beauty, but it’s more ‘medical’ if you like. The lotions and potions have a mention because I’ve had a bit of a nightmare with my skin lately and the beauty items are simply to cheer me up because of that – i’m a girl, it’s what we do! Considering summer is in full swing i haven’t experienced the usual ‘shine’ complexion, my skin has actually gone the opposite and it’s become really dry which is something i’m not used to at all so I’ve gone back to a name that i trust. It was only recently that i thought to myself ‘girl, you need some new wrist candy’ after lusting over Pinterest pics of festival friendly bracelets, and then funnily enough the cutest most delicate parcel landed on my doorstep. Birchbox kindly sent me the Light Bracelet* by Stella and Dot, first of all let’s state the obvious reason why this piece of jewellery is perfect for me, can you guess? It’s silver hardware! The Food Edition: Banana Bread Baking Fail

**DISCLAIMER** I’m a much better photographer than i am baker. I’m no Mary Berry, i’ll hold my hands up to that. I attempted to make Banana Bread for the first time and i know you’re probably thinking easy peasy, well not for me. I’m good at following recipes but i often get distracted and miss out ingredients i.e the sugar – yup… complete fail. My way out of that one was to drizzle the whole thing in chocolate and in all fairness the end result didn’t taste too bad, especially guzzled down with a cup of tea. If you’re better at following recipes than me and also have…

The Beauty Edition: Try Before You Buy Miniatures

As i mentioned in my previous post i’m all over mini products at the moment. I’m still very new to blogging and although thoroughly enjoying it i can see how costly it can be especially as it’s not full time for me, i’m just a normal girl with a day job that has an interest in beauty and make up. It’s not always ideal, or even within my budget to buy full sized products to review or try out so i have been leaning towards travel sized purchases. We have all been there before, we have all experienced that disappointment of buying something expensive and not enjoying it or…
