The Fashion Edition: Asos Autumn Cape

It’s winter woollies time! So, i know it was only less than a week ago that i was blogging about summer scents but frankly i was kidding myself. I have caved in and put the heating on, it seems to have suddenly dropped to temperature abso-lutely-freezing. The leaves from the trees are starting to fall and the conkers are making an appearance and that kind of setting is just not made for bare legged dresses. There is one ultimate fashion essential that has been helping me cope with the transition to Autumn and that is this gorgeous cosy, grey tassled cape. This has really kept the chill…

LUST LIST

The Beauty Edition: Sun Perfume, Lush

I wanted to take a moment to share with you my favourite scent of the season. It won’t be long until I’m blogging about winter woollies so I thought I had better squeeze in a last little summer edition. I’m a Lush addict, there you go, I said it. Ever since I stepped into the Oxford Street store in London recently my wish list has doubled. Whilst in that particular store I was lucky enough to be taken on a perfume sensory tour which I mentioned in a previous post. There was one stand out scent for me and that was Sun and this is literally summer…

The Beauty Edition: John Masters Organics Hair Detangler

Okay, so I have been trying this new thing for a month now where I reverse my shampoo and conditioning routine, basically i condition first and then shampoo. Hear me out with this one, I bet by the end of this blog post you’ll be intrigued enough to try it for yourself. I naturally have a lot of hair but it’s extremely fine – yes that’s possible. My locks can often ‘go flat’ no matter what products I chuck on them. Now, I will let you in on a little secret that I found out… conditioning last is actually bad for your hair – who knew! When you…

The Food Edition: Courgette and Halloumi Skewers

I’m clinging onto summer and that’s reflecting in my food, it won’t be long until Autumn arrives and i’m craving the British classic of bangers and mash so i’m making the most of light, fresh dishes slathered over salad (my waistline appreciates this right now). It’s not quite BBQ weather anymore but i’m all for throwing food onto a griddle. Being a pescetarian i’m always looking for ways to pack some protein into my meals and halloumi is something i’m all for, it’s delicious. I stumbled across this halloumi and courgette skewer recipe on BBC Good Food, this is my go to website for delicious dishes. What…

The Lifestyle Edition: Detox Tea’s

Okay, so this post is not for everyone. If you’re a cynic when it comes to ‘faddy’ detox teas, as so my mum calls them then close the tab and i’ll see you on the next post, if you’re all for it, intrigued or just open minded then please, do continue. I am a huge advocate for all things that make you feel good, as long as they aren’t hurting you or others (we’re talking chocolate and such here not murder). Seriously, if drinking a ‘detox tea’ makes you feel good on the inside and in turn makes you shine on the outside then brilliant, keep on…
