The Food Edition: Banana Bread Baking Fail

**DISCLAIMER** I’m a much better photographer than i am baker. I’m no Mary Berry, i’ll hold my hands up to that. I attempted to make Banana Bread for the first time and i know you’re probably thinking easy peasy, well not for me. I’m good at following recipes but i often get distracted and miss out ingredients i.e the sugar – yup… complete fail. My way out of that one was to drizzle the whole thing in chocolate and in all fairness the end result didn’t taste too bad, especially guzzled down with a cup of tea. If you’re better at following recipes than me and also have…

The Beauty Edition: Try Before You Buy Miniatures

As i mentioned in my previous post i’m all over mini products at the moment. I’m still very new to blogging and although thoroughly enjoying it i can see how costly it can be especially as it’s not full time for me, i’m just a normal girl with a day job that has an interest in beauty and make up. It’s not always ideal, or even within my budget to buy full sized products to review or try out so i have been leaning towards travel sized purchases. We have all been there before, we have all experienced that disappointment of buying something expensive and not enjoying it or…

The Beauty Edition: Pop Beauty Trio Eye Shadow Palette

I’m having an all things ‘mini’ obsession at the moment and i’ll blogging in more detail about that soon, so keep your eyes peeled! This little eye shadow palette falls into that category just nicely, with three neutral shades this is the perfect travel sized product to take along with you in your handbag. This came in my July Birchbox and it was one of the products i wanted to try out most as i’m finding myself turning to eye shadows more than usual, especially with the summer months ahead i’m all in favour of a ‘pop’ of colour, as the name would suggest. I’ve not come across Pop…

The Food Edition: Brunch at Chiltern Firehouse Marleybone

There’s nothing i love more than a stroll around London in search of some dreamy cocktails. You only need to mention the word ‘Bellini’ and myself and friend Tiffany Tales are on a mission! I’ve been wanting to try out Chiltern Firehouse in Marleybone since seeing some Instagram worthy drinks, having booked in advance we were holding out for an outside table. You walk past The Courtyard on the way in and it’s so damn pretty, the seating area was hidden by beautiful flower boxes, gorgeous balcony style seats and marble topped tables, i was looking forward to a relaxing afternoon of sunning myself sippin’ on bubbles.…

The Food Edition: Mini Vegetarian Frittata

Lost for lunch ideas? These miniature vegetable frittata’s are great for throwing onto a salad when you simply just can’t be bothered. With the not so typical English heatwave we have recently been experiencing i couldn’t think of anything worse than slaving away in the kitchen. When summer hits i just want fresh, quick and simple food but it’s still got to be tasty. Inspired by the BBC Good Food website these little chunks of deliciousness are on the easy scale when it comes to cooking, in fact i would say more on the baking side of things… think little savoury muffins! What you will need: Butter for…
