The Beauty Edition: John Masters Organics Hair Detangler

Okay, so I have been trying this new thing for a month now where I reverse my shampoo and conditioning routine, basically i condition first and then shampoo. Hear me out with this one, I bet by the end of this blog post you’ll be intrigued enough to try it for yourself. I naturally have a lot of hair but it’s extremely fine – yes that’s possible. My locks can often ‘go flat’ no matter what products I chuck on them. Now, I will let you in on a little secret that I found out… conditioning last is actually bad for your hair – who knew! When you…

The Food Edition: Courgette and Halloumi Skewers

I’m clinging onto summer and that’s reflecting in my food, it won’t be long until Autumn arrives and i’m craving the British classic of bangers and mash so i’m making the most of light, fresh dishes slathered over salad (my waistline appreciates this right now). It’s not quite BBQ weather anymore but i’m all for throwing food onto a griddle. Being a pescetarian i’m always looking for ways to pack some protein into my meals and halloumi is something i’m all for, it’s delicious. I stumbled across this halloumi and courgette skewer recipe on BBC Good Food, this is my go to website for delicious dishes. What…

If you’re a cynic when it comes to ‘faddy’ detox teas, as so my mum calls them then close the tab and i’ll see you on the next post, if you’re all for it, intrigued or just open minded then please, do continue. The Birchbx Edition: September 15

A big Happy Birthday to Birchbox! I’m only almost five months into my subscription sign up, but Birchbox themselves have been going for a whooping full five years, it pains me to think of what i have missed out on *sobs*. This month has some wonderful goodies, all products picked from USA brands which is where everything Birchbox originally started. It’s a nice touch for them to go back to their roots for the anniversary box! In celebration of the birthday the box design is a lovely pastel balloon print, there is actually a choice this month but this one was my favourite design. Something else to mention, something…

The Beauty Edition: Lush Flowering Tea Bubble Bar

I finally got myself into the Lush store on Oxford Street and boy was it everything i expected it to be. I think i genuinely spent about two hours in there, i was drawn in with demonstrations, general nosing around and completely fascinated by all the exclusives. I wanted them all! I hate to mention this word but it will have the most special atmosphere at Christmas time. I’m sorry, please forgive me, i have Snow Fairy on the brain. I picked up a few things, they were all exclusive products and one of my ultimate favourites was this Flowering Tea Bath Dunk. This was the first thing…
