The Lifestyle Edition: Spring Fling

With warmer weather on the horizon (okay, maybe just lukewarm) I wanted to introduce some vibrancy into my spring colour palette. If you hadn’t noticed already, I’m having a little love affair with the colour blue right now! Starting with all things style, the easiest way to inject those ‘pick me up’ spring shades into your everyday look is with a manicure. A bold nail colour is totally eye catching and most importantly, instantly shakes up an everyday outfit. I’ve been obsessing over this stunning bright blue by Leighton Denny Expert Nails, in the shade ‘Get Your Cote’. A sweep of this paired with my favourite statement ring simply…

THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: DATE YOURSELF

With my Instagram feed having been recently bombarded with an abundance of red roses, Michael Korrs watches and ‘boy did good‘ hashtags, it felt only natural to front the single ladies corner. Firstly I just want to get a few assumptions out of the way. To clarify, I don’t hate men and I don’t have commitment issues but my choice to be single is that exactly, a choice (for now anyway). THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: SOCIAL MEDIA SWITCH OFF

Living and breathing social media can sometimes be a little.. intense. There, I said it! As a full-time marketing executive and part-time blogger, my working day revolves around all things social media. THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: WEEKEND WRITE UP

Well, it was about bloody time we saw some beautiful rays of sunshine! After a cold, moody week, it’s safe to say by the weekend the weather turned itself around and this definitely lifted my spirits. A busy working week paired with battling a stinking cold, it’s fair to say I was feeling a little blue. Having dragged my sorry state out of bed well into the afternoon on Saturday, I decided there was no point in getting dressed so I took to the sofa draped in my dressing gown with copious amounts of tea. I find it extremely hard to relax and I often feel guilty for simply doing…

THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: WEEKEND WRITE UP

I’ve been favouring a more chatty style of writing when it comes to blogging this year, I’m taking on a more relaxed approach to editionemmagrace and in all honesty, I feel like it genuinely helps me to produce better content. No pressure, no worries. Nearly two years into it and I’m starting to really understand the kind of content I want to be sharing out here, in the big wide world of the web. Rather than posting what I feel others want to see, or what falls into blogging guidelines, I’m creating content that’s more relatable to me, content I’m actually proud of when it goes live. I will no doubt go into that a…
