THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: SEPTEMBER FAVOURITES

Well, well, well, here we are again. Another month has simply flown by. How the heck is it October?! With an Autumnal spin on the table, I thought I would carry that theme through to today’s blog post. A favourites post paired with a fall floral hue! Trips to London aren’t complete without a stop off at, in my opinion, the most dreamy floral stand in the land; Liberty London. I’m in London regularly, often sprinting in for work related meetings, caffeine catch-ups and in my own time, all important shopping sprees. Last week was no different and I made a vow to pass by Liberty to…

THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: THINGS YOU DON’T HAVE TO BE SORRY FOR

It’s creeping up to midnight and I can’t sleep. I’ve been writing at this ungodly hour quite a lot recently. A string of thoughts tapping away in my brain that I don’t want to loose. Sometimes, when I read it back the next day I give myself a giggle ’cause usually it’s all a load of gibberish and then other times it makes it onto here to share with you guys. I’m aware that I’ve been sharing a lot more with you all lately and when I say more, I don’t mean quantity, I mean more of me, the real, unedited me. I’m always conscious that I’m…

THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: KEEPING MOTIVATED THROUGH AUTUMN

The transition into Autumn is so instant, isn’t it? Staying motivated is so tough when you’re hit with cold, dark dreary days ahead. The thought of conversation before 9am is a serious no-go and I’m already tempted to bin off my evening trips to the gym (soz PT). Everything just feels like much more of an effort. It’s natural for your mood to mirror the weather and it can be hard to snap out of that. With the risk of Autumn being a bit of a fun sucker, I’m going to make it my mission to get some pleasure out of the little things. THE MINDSET Changing…

THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: SUMMER WIND DOWN

BBQ’s, seaside spots, flirty skirts and laugh out loud moments, as we reach September, summer as it does, has simply flown by. I have to confess my summer was fairly tame compared to previous years. Maybe I’m getting boring? Maybe I’m just not eighteen anymore. Who am I kidding… there’s some stories banked to spill, no doubt saved for a white wine fuelled post (as per). Summer, whether that be chilled down or dialled up just feels so great, doesn’t it? The brighter mornings and lighter evenings, your mind-set and routine changes from the way you dress to the music you listen to. Weekends feel full, hazy and without…

THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: DIGITAL DETOX

‘DISCONNECT TO RECONNECT’ I never thought I’d be saying this, especially as a full-time social media executive slash side kick blogger but I’ve been feeling so numb to social media lately. Do you ever just scroll for the sake of scrolling? After a few quick and snappy reassuring ‘babe, you can do this’ exchanges over Whatsapp with my blogging bestie, I decided to cut the cord. Fuck it, I’m embarking on a digital detox. A week in and I’ve come off Facebook, Twitter and the toughest one of the lot; Instagram. Naturally, there are so many reasons why I love social media but I have to say more recently so, there are many more…
