The Lifestyle Edition: Tips For Living Alone

They say that time flies when you’re having fun and I’ve almost clocked up six months of living on my own, although it does only feels like yesterday I was lumbering boxes into my new little pad. I’m slowly learning that living alone can come with a few hitches, let’s just say that DIY is so not my thing! Then there’s the minor stuff like that pesky top button on the back of a blouse that you just can’t reach.. awkward! On a more positive note, I’m fully enjoying Netflix binges in ‘comfies’ whilst consuming left overs without running the risk of outside judgement. To be honest, I’m…

The Lifestyle Edition: One Year of Blogging

It sprung to mind last month that I have been on this blogging ‘bandwagon’ for an entire year – wowsers. I have honestly surpassed myself with this! Minus a little break at Christmas, I have been tapping away creating posts and content for the last fivety-two weeks. I’m all for love and romance and why the heck shouldn’t you celebrate Valentine’s Day, being single doesn’t mean you have to miss out either, simply treat yourself (I bloomin’ love that excuse) or gather the girls and have a little gift swap. I hate to admit it but going back to work was actually a blessing in disguise, it was nice to get back into a routine. So, human contact began again and everyone seemed to be talking about what they wanted to do to improve the new year ahead, I mentioned recently on a previous…

The Lifestyle Edition: 2016 Goals

2016 is right around the corner and although resolutions aren’t really my thing, i do like to reflect and set some goals for the New Year ahead. I’m not one for being unrealistic because lets face it i absolutely love a good cocktail and I’ve never set foot in a gym – these aren’t changing anytime soon. Goals don’t necessarily have to be physical, sometimes it’s more about well being and I definitely want to go full speed ahead into 2016 with a positive mindset!  Hopefully, with a bit of luck, these are ones that i’ll be able to stick to: Declutter – It’s always a good idea…
