THE LIFESTYLE: I’VE PUT ON WEIGHT & I’M NOT SAD ABOUT IT

‘Oh my god, what if you wake up some day, and you’re 65, or 75 and you never got your memoir or novel written; or you didn’t go swimming in warm pools and oceans all those years because your thighs were jiggly and you had a nice comfortable tummy; or you were just so strung out out on perfectionism and people-pleasing that you forget to have a big juicy creative life, of imagination and and radical silliness and staring of into space like when you were a kid? It’s going to break your heart. Don’t let this happen’. This quote resonated with me more than any, ever.…

THE FAVOURITES EDITION: JUNE

‘And these are a few of my favourite things’ We’re a week away from July. I mean, what da fuq? Everything is speeding by and I feel like every time I blink another month just passes me by. Cliché? With that, it’s time for a little catch up, from me to you and a run through my favourite things from June. So June has been a really positive month for me in regards to my blog and taking things up a notch. Shooting in…

Whether we realise it or not, sometimes life can just simply pass us by and before we know it the day to day becomes just that, the same, one after the other. Wake up, coffee, work, more work, a quick sandwich, a few emails, meetings, the drive home, a bath, dinner that’s too late in the evening, a few quick WhatsApp’s to the girl chat group, a few more emails and then finally bed. All for it to repeat…

THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: ARE WE SHARING TOO MUCH ON THE INTERNET?

Writing to you from a week/weekend from hell. Sippin’ on a glass of Pinot Noir and reflecting on a rather eventful week, I thought I’d put pen to paper (in 2018 terms). You can always come here for honesty. I’m very open when it comes to sharing my thoughts, feelings and life with you on here. So, what made last week so bad? Well, life just seemed to really be against me. Accident prone Emma came out in full force, might I say. From dropping an entire cup of hot coffee (very luckily) almost down myself but drowning an entire train carriage with it… don’t worry it…
