The Food Edition: Creme Egg Rocky Road

Happy Easter to you all! I suspect everybody is feeling a little out of sorts today with the clocks going forward, lucky us to be blessed with an extra duvet day tomorrow… hurrah! I’m taking full advantage of this long weekend, in fact it has come at just the right time, with only two days left at my current job by Friday I’ll be hitting up the big smoke so I’m taking things super easy this Bank Holiday. Daffodil season is upon us and we’ve even been lucky enough to witness some sun. My afternoon will be spent dunkin’ in the tub with some Lush Bunch of Carrots and probably some sort…

The Food Edition: Szechuan Prawns

I’m a big foodie, I would say about 60% of my daily thoughts concentrate on what i’m going to whip up for dinner. I love any excuse to get into the kitchen and try out some new recipes, it’s so rewarding tucking into something you have made yourself and as my 2016 has started on a health conscious vibe i’m favouring homemade to takeaway right now. I have been enjoying pitta based pizza’s for about a year now, the idea came about one lunch time when cravings kicked in and as much as the word Domino’s brings joy to me, i…

The Food Edition: Courgette and Halloumi Skewers

I’m clinging onto summer and that’s reflecting in my food, it won’t be long until Autumn arrives and i’m craving the British classic of bangers and mash so i’m making the most of light, fresh dishes slathered over salad (my waistline appreciates this right now). It’s not quite BBQ weather anymore but i’m all for throwing food onto a griddle. Being a pescetarian i’m always looking for ways to pack some protein into my meals and halloumi is something i’m all for, it’s delicious. I stumbled across this halloumi and courgette skewer recipe on BBC Good Food, this is my go to website for delicious dishes. What…

The Food Edition: Smack Lobster Roll Deli, London

Lunch dates are totally my thing and i’m all for an extravagant lunch too. Ever since i took a visit to Loche Fyne, which you can read back on here, i have become obsessed with lobster! Now you know why i used the word extravagant but hey, we all deserve a treat here and there. I stumbled across Smack Lobster Roll Deli on a recent trip to London, totally flagging after some serious shopping i was in desperate need of a pick me up to continue my spree. Before we get into the food, which is why you are here, firstly I just want to say how lovely…
