The Beauty Edition: Red Hair Don’t Care

Hands up, when it comes to hair care it’s not high up on my priority list. I’ve been all colours you could possibly imagine from black to pink but for the past two years my hair has been bleached blonde with a few pastel washes here and there which you might already know if you have read my Peach Perfection post. The up keep for bleached hair is intense, it’s a painful monthly process which is funny because a trip to the hairdressers should be relaxing not nail biting. I would often leave the salon with a numb backside from a three hour sit, a sore scalp from root…

The Bath Tub Edition: Lush Haul

Chocolate or bath bombs? I’ll take both please. There are not many things that beat chocolate but a trip to Lush is one of them! I have a dangerous obsession with Lush and recently i treated myself to a little online order. The Easter range is just so cute, filled with goodies delicious enough to eat and best of all a few limited edition items. I picked four items from the range, it was a difficult choice and i had to stop myself buying more, as did my bank balance. Bath bombs are my go to product and i love nothing more than a dip in the…

The Beauty Edition: Seventeen Shimmer Brick

If there is one product in my make up bag that is an everyday ‘go to’ then it would have to be a highlighter. Perfect for creating a gorgeous glow throughout all seasons winter to summer. There is nothing i love more than a dewy look to the skin. I’ve had my eye on the Bobbi Brown Shimmer Brick, a stunning compact highlighter with neutral to blush shades. Priced at £32.50 i’m trying to convince myself to splurge. On a recent trip to Boots the Seventeen stand caught my eye and there it was, a glowing Shimmer Brick compact, the most perfect dupe. Priced at £4.99 i…

The Beauty Edition: Mabelline Colour Tattoo 24hr

I’m all for a bargain and what’s more a beauty one! I’m certain that if you took a peek in any MUA on the go kit you would find the Mabelline Colour Tattoo 24hr pots. On paper these are an eye shadow but in my eyes, excuse the pun, they are so much more. These little gems work wonders, a gorgeous creamy consistency that does not crease so perfect for a maximum build up of colour. If you have tried the Mac Paint Pots then i would say these are a great dupe, the colour pay off is definitely on par but there is one difference that deserves…

The Beauty Edition: Spring Shades

The sun is peeking through and this reflects in my outfits, although emphasise on the ‘peek’. I’m a November baby so typically a winter girl, give me grey and black any day. Throughout Spring/Summer i do like to incorporate notes of colour and something subtle like a pastel nail shade will do for me. Barry M have recently bought out a new ‘speedy’ range which claims for a lightening speed drying time. They have taken the word speed and used this as a basis for the look of the product. The bottles have a gorgeous check design, like a racing flag and the names are based on Formula…
