The Food Edition: Thrift Farm, Whaddon

In need of last minute bank holiday plans? Want to occupy the kids but don’t want to spend a fortune? If you have weather on your side (sadly not guaranteed) there are some fantastic places to spend the bank holiday without blowing the budget. I’m constantly trawling the internet in search of places to take my niece and recently stumbled upon Thrift Farm in Buckinghamshire (super close to Milton Keynes) it’s adorable, a perfect place to venture to on a bank holiday Monday. It’s free for little ones under two and just £2.00 for children up to sixteen so certainly won’t be breaking the bank. I’m 25 and i still…

The Beauty Edition: Nude Pro Genius Treatment Oil

I have had my beloved Birchbox for a couple of weeks now and I’ve really had to hold myself back from using everything all at once. I have sampled a few of the products and there is already a front runner for me and that’s the Pro Genius Treatment Oil from Nude. Since cutting out meat i have struggled to find somewhere that offers anything past beans on toast. The Groundworks have a menu to drool over from savoury to sweet treats. On a recent trip i devoured a full vegetarian breakfast which…

The Food Edition: Dairy Free Chocolate Brookies

It’s okay to be naughty every now and then, right? I have been making some fairly big changes in my diet recently and i have been trying my hardest to cut down on dairy, replacing butter with coconut oil and cow’s milk with almond so this recipe was right up my street. Spotted on the blog of the lovely Lily Pebbles. They are named Brookies – half brownie, half cookie, they are as good as they look if not better. They have a crunchy, crispy outside and a soft squidgy center so you get the best of both worlds! To make these you will need: 85g good…
