THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: MONTH IN CAMERA ROLL

I think we would all agree that’s it’s too late to do a full blown festive dedication to this blog instalment. In hindsight, I should have had this ready immediately after Christmas and shared my December iPhone pics but unfortunately cheese and wine coma attacked and there really was no coming back from that. December was full of festivities, Christmas markets, hotel stays, a beautiful wedding, work parties, country walks and lots of alcohol. So, a compromise is on the cards, I’ll do half December through to the start of Jan and then pick up again in February. Plus, January as we all know is very uneventful…

THE FAVOURITES EDITION: 2018 ALL TIME FAVOURITES

A mammoth task, a post like this. Trying to sum up all the things I loved in 2018, jumping from season to season, trend to trend. Taking a look back, it seems that 2018 bought me some structure and some routine. I guess you could say I am becoming more and more comfortable with my image (something which is always a journey, never a destination). ‘You can’t skip chapters, that’s not how life works. You have to read every line, meet every character. You won’t enjoy all of it. Hell, some chapters will make you cry for weeks. You will read things you don’t want to read, you will have moments when you don’t want the pages to end. But you have to keep going. Stories keep the world revolving. Live yours, don’t miss out’. Tapping through everyone’s year reviews over on Instagram has been pretty refreshing. Lots of honesty. I feel like social media is shifting and it doesn’t feel as fake as it did earlier on in the year. It…

THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: POSITIVE MENTAL ATTITUDE FOR BEGINNERS

The other weekend I raced my little butt off backstage at London Fashion Week, jumping here and there, snapping up some social media content and photography for one of the beauty brands I work for. Now, it was work but it was fun, hectic and tiring, all at once. I’ve done LFW three years in a row and I can’t complain as it never disappoints. Anyway, without digressing too much into that, you can imagine the high I was on catching that train back home. Mood levels were at peak point. I was really happy with how the day went and I was ready to treat myself…
