image1 (4)_FotorHaving been a lover of silver details for so long, I’ve decided to make a change, jumping ship feels a little like having a full blown love affair. Sorry silver, it just didn’t work out! Something else has caught my eye, like a magpie on a serious search, I’m lusting for gold. Side note: not rose gold, that’s had it’s day, right? I’m talking beautiful, bold GOLD. Think bronzed skin, glistening highlighter and multiple overlapping delicate necklaces. This look, to me, is dreamy AF!

I think my lust for this look started when I amped-up my tanning game. Opting for something a little darker and giving the Bondi Sands Self-Tanning Mousse in Dark a whirl, gold jewellery literally popped against my skin. It was the perfect pairing! There is something really satisfying about taking an outfit to the next level by finishing it off with some gorgeous gold detailing, make-up and all. When it comes to highlighter, it’s fair to say I’ve always gone a little on the side of ‘over the top’. Okay fine, I slap the stuff on! I put my hands up, I’m a highlighter addict. Lately I’ve been reaching for the Liquid Illuminator from NYX. I dab some (alot) onto a damp beauty blender and apply (go crazy). It’s so lovely, a beautiful gold undertone with a hint of subtle shimmer.

I’m favouring my jewellery with a little somethin’ somethin’ at the moment, I’m taking a risk and always on the hunt for pieces that are a little out there, much more edgy. Tassles, pearls, delicate details, oval shaped, chunky, you just name it and I’m all over it!
