I’ve been writing a lot of heavy lifestyle topics lately so I wanted to take a little break from that as I’m all opinionated out right now (believe it or not) and cover something a little more light-hearted on here. I haven’t done a monthly favourites post in what feels like forever and as we’ve hit the end of the month I thought heck, let’s give it a go!

I recently indulged in something a little naughty, a little spendy you might say, I was having a time to treat myself moment. I was feeling down in the ol’ dumps having recently moved back home to my parents (more on this soon) and so I convinced myself, as you do, to spend a bit o’ cash in the hope of slapping a smile right across my face.

It’s safe to say, designer handbags are having their moment! With Gucci taking all the limelight, and trust me I was tempted, I stuck to a brand that I have loved for a really long time. Vivienne Westwood is a bit of me; stylish, feminine but with an edge! It was love at first sight when I laid eyes on the Opio Saffiano Large Cross Body. Having test drove this baby for a good few weeks now I can safely say I made the right choice (always the initial worry when you’re investing). I’m so happy to report that it goes with everything and I think the neutral colours really help with this. I’ve had so many compliments, it’s definitely an eye catcher. It’s mine and I loooove it! P.s I’ve suggested a similar version below as I can’t now find this anywhere.

Tipped to be making it’s appearance throughout this autumnal season too, a few Lady In Red trend pieces must make it over to the lust list. I mean, let’s be real, I’m obviously not going to be rocking this rather sassed up skimpy look in October (or am I?) but a chunky rouge cable knit springs to mind. Sticking with the style department, another favourite comes in the form of a pair of gold oval hoops. I tend to wear hoops on a daily basis but I was tiring out the go-to’s so I opted for somethin’ a little unusual. Similarly, I’ve not taking off this belt for days either! Inspired by the favourable Gucci, this is on the more afforable side!

Not forgetting beauty, I’ve been reaching for something new when it comes to skincare. The silicone primer from beauty brand of the moment The Ordinary has really impressed me. Applying prior to make-up, it works to offer longevity to your beauty look whilst minimising shine, something I can definitely use a helping hand with. I’m loving the ethos of this brand, no hidden agenda, just quality products at I’m not going to make you skint prices.

Lastly, having resurfaced from my digital detox and back on the ol’ grid, I’ve been clutching onto a new super sassy phone case. Tipped as blogger favourite, this palm print design is very ‘in’ right now, wouldn’t you say? Ideal Of Sweden are offering a mega 30% off their phone cases, just use code KEEPIT100 to bag yours (ends Sunday).

How lovely of you to drop by!
