With warmer weather on the horizon (okay, maybe just lukewarm) I wanted to introduce some vibrancy into my spring colour palette. If you hadn’t noticed already, I’m having a little love affair with the colour blue right now!
Starting with all things style, the easiest way to inject those ‘pick me up’ spring shades into your everyday look is with a manicure. A bold nail colour is totally eye catching and most importantly, instantly shakes up an everyday outfit. I’ve been obsessing over this stunning bright blue by Leighton Denny Expert Nails, in the shade ‘Get Your Cote’. A sweep of this paired with my favourite statement ring simply screams spring fling, it’s the ultimate combination, if I do say so myself.
A typical British summer lasts a whole two minutes it seems so when the temperature does decide to amp it up a little bit, naturally, so does my bronzer! Sun-kissed skin and spring, it’s really got a ring to it, hasn’t it? I’ve always been a fan of The Balm, my first love is dedicated to the Balm Desert Bronzer. It’s totally pigmented, long-lasting and best of all, comes in the cutest packaging ever. A stroke of this always leaves me feeling like the bronziest babe!
When it comes to skincare, this is something I always tailor throughout the warmer months. It goes without saying but I’m talking stripped back, there’s nothing worse than slathering on tonnes of moisturiser, only for it to melt off at the end of the day. This is where my trusty Pore Professional by Benefit saves the day! It essentially zaps up any oil on the skin, leaving your make-up looking super fresh all day. I genuinely don’t know what I would do without this stuff!
I’ve never been more excited to turn my back on the winter months. Summer sun – I’m ready for you!
