The Style Edition: Frill and Ruffles Jumper Details

I can officially declare that my wardrobe is winter ready. Hurrah! Come at me snow I’ve got this! Actually.. please don’t, I bloody hate the cold.

I’ve recently been hitting the shops and I made it my mission to stock up on all the seasonal essentials, you know the ones; checkered scarf, military jacket and naturally, an abundance of knitwear. Although, not any old jumper has made the cut, oh no, I’ve fallen head over heels for a particularly pretty trend. I’ve got just two words for you – frills and ruffles.

I’m totally on board with this ultra feminine twist on an everyday staple jumper. Practical and pretty, it’s an absolute winner dressed up or down. Just think Sunday strolling, coffee in hand, paired with a ripped jean and a super chunky boot. It’s a trend made for all, and it’s so so easy to pull off. If you would prefer to smarten things up a little, simply match with a leather mini skirt and inject a pop of colour with a red lip.

With the likes of Topshop, New Look and Primark covering all of your knitwear needs, spotting a frilly little number won’t be too difficult but picking out which colour might be. I’m particularly fond of white as it goes with absolutely everything and screams classic. Usually, I would steer away from pink but I’m embracing this beautiful blush attack that’s recently hit the style scene and I blame YSL for that. Have you seen the rose-hued embossed Classic Monogram leather shoulder bag?! Oh boy. A girl can dream..

Are you a fan of the frill?

How lovely of you to drop by!
