The Blogtober Edition: Sunday Playlist

How did this weekend pass by so quickly?

Sunday’s are my favourite! For most, Sunday’s call for snoozin’ and although I start my day with a fairly early gym session, after a quick cool down in the shower I have to admit I’m usually guilty of jumping back into bed with a cup of tea. To be fair, I usually spend this time scheduling blog posts for the week ahead, so technically I am working, right?

My evenings are blocked out for some well deserved me time and whatever that may be, there is always two things that make an appearance in my Sunday set up. Wine and music. Safe to say if you pass my house on a Sunday, you’ll be sure to hear some tunes blaring out from the walls.

Like most, my music taste is pretty varied and this of course has changed over the years, as a part of growing up. One music taste that still stands is my love and admiration for inspiring female singers and this came from the moment my eyes laid on Amy Winehouse. It can’t be argued that her voice was outstanding and you can’t get much better than her album Frank. Putting aside girl power vibes, which I would say does take up a chunk of my music interest, I’ve always been pretty into bands. No, not ‘boy bands’. As a kid I was always off to a gig somewhere, catching all the rock and indie bands in action. Lastly, just to add a some shock factor into the mix, chart music will always be my guilty pleasure. C’mon,  I’m a girl in her 20’s who enjoys a night out on the tiles, it was inevitable!

Much like my Saturday instalments, I thought I would set up a regular feature on Sunday’s throughout Blogtober and create a list of songs that I’ve got playing on repeat that week!

01. CC Smugglers – Rythmn

02. The 1975 – Somebody Else

03. Secret Company – Saviour

05. Dj Snake – Middle

05. Lady Gaga – Perfect Illusion

06. Kiiara – Gold

07. Anne Marie – Alarm

08. Lana Del Rey – Video Games

09. Haim – The Wire

10. Amy Winehouse – Just Friends

I’d love to know what everyone else is listening to on their Spotify right now?

How lovely of you to drop by!
