The Blogtober Edition: Wednesday Wish List

I mentioned earlier in the week that with Autumn having fallen right on our doorsteps, it was time to inject some of that into my home, wardrobe etc! So, I thought I would create a few wish lists within the up and coming weeks to share with you. Home updates are one of the easiest ways to transition into a new season. My home is pretty much a blank canvas of off white walls and nude carpets throughout so I find the easiest way to switch things up is through accessories.

The bedroom instantly becomes a hub for hibernation in the colder months. For me, there is nothing better than heading up early in the evenings to snuggle in bed with a good book and a mug of hot chocolate. Candles add a real element of cosy to a room and with some super spicy scents out on the shelves in Autumn, I always turn to The White Company for a real treat. Wrap your senses around this gorgeous Winter Botanical Pillar Candle.

Living Room

Much like the bedroom, a sofa becomes a place to crash in front of films on a rainy Sunday. Cushions automatically change the look of a room and I like to go for more moody hues to match thick, stitched blankets. H&M home will always be my go to for inexpensive soft furnishings. I recently picked up a rug from Wayfair to lay under my coffee table, rugs add a whole new texture to a room. I have a corner in my living room just dying out for a make-over so I think a ladder shelf is on the cards. These are great to dress up, especially by adding some fresh greenery and in keeping with the Autumn theme some cute mini pumpkins!

With BBQ season officially over, I’m ready to spend some time in the heart of the home. I’ve been reading up on a lot of recipes lately in preparation for cooking up a storm, Autumn calls for warming soups and stews. I want to get my hands on some nice spices and salts and store them on show in a cute little crate. I feel like this will just make everything extra homely.

It’s time to make a small dent in my bank account!

How lovely of you to drop by!
