Things are about to get a little festive over on this blog.. yup that’s right! We may have just escaped a typical British Summer heatwave but Christmas is today’s topic.

A lot of my recent content, whether that be travel or event related, have all been in conjunction with work. Last week I attended a press event in which I was invited to through my blog and although I’ve been running my blog for a while, it’s still super exciting to receive an invite through it. If the above images didn’t give it away, then I popped along to the very extravagent press day hosted by Debenhams.

I was strolling around London looking for the event address, when I caught a glistening Christmas tree peering out of a town house bay window. It’s a really strange feeling walking into a room playing Deck The Halls at the end of July, but hey there was champagne on offer and I just went with it. Of course, each room was beautifully decorated and filled with gifts galore, naturally I headed for the beauty display first. From YSL to Kat Von D, it seems that beauty gifts aren’t taking a back seat this year and I have zero complaints with that. Who doesn’t adore a red lip for the Christmas party season?

I know events aren’t all about the free bar but I can’t not talk about this one. Look at all that gorgeous gold detailing! Debenhams certainly know how to present the bubbly that’s for sure. I was hopping on the tube home so I indulged in a glass.. or two. With a stunning ‘family table’ laid opposite to the bar, perfectly placed in front of a fire, I truly felt like I was swanning around some celebrities swish home. The whole house impressed, it made the experience really special actually.

My favourite room of all without question was the bathroom. Who wouldn’t totally obsess over a marble bath tub? Still thinking about that dream décor now! The floating flowers were just the best touch too, and so Instagram worthy.

All this festivity has got me thinking of my first Christmas in my home and although I’ve got the cheese board on hold for now, I’ve definitely got some decoration ideas up my sleeve. Thanks for the inspo Debenhams!
