Spring is in the air, the sun is creeping out from those clouds more and more each day, I’m almost ready to start rocking the maxi skirt & sandal combo. My March monthly Birchbox definitely helped ignite my excitement for warmer months ahead, the strawberry ice cream coloured box looked totally fab! Swaying more to beauty this month I was treated to two full sized make-up products, and both get top marks from me..
There’s nothing I love more than a fresh face for Spring, I’m talking cute freckles and groomed brows and this calls for a good brow gel. More Brows from ModelCo is definitely one of my favourite products from the box, the colour is a great match for me, very natural and nothing too heavy plus the diddy little brush works perfectly to coat any pesky sparse areas.
Now that I’m working for the fantastic brand that is James Read Tan I’m upping my bronzing game, I was on the hunt for a good pre-tan moisturiser and luckily Birchbox had just the thing for me. Lovely Lanolin Triple Buttermilk Body Balm is an absolute dream, designed for super dry skin and although this isn’t necessarily something I suffer with it still works for everyday use, it’s a luxurious, thick balm but it sinks into the skin so well and surprisingly quickly. I might do a full review on this, as the results are seriously impressive. Big thanks to Birchbox on this one, what a super full sized product!
On the subject of full sized products, I was treated to another gem, this time from Arrow. I haven’t heard of this brand before, I think it’s actually a Birchbox own. It’s a colour enhancing lip balm, not something I’m desperate need for but lets face it what girl doesn’t own a thousand lip balms.. this will definitely get stuffed into the depths of my handbag. The packaging is pretty funky, not my immediate cup of tea but I’m rather drawn to the Aztec design. This product has a lovely mint scent to it and once applied leaves a subtle sweep of colour whilst leaving my pout perfectly hydrated all day – what else could I ask for?
All in all this box is definitely up there within the top three of my favourite subscriptions so far, I’m hunting out my Raybans, Spring days are officially calling me..
