The Lifestyle Edition: Valentine’s Gift Guide

valentines.png

I’m all for love and romance and why the heck shouldn’t you celebrate Valentine’s Day, being single doesn’t mean you have to miss out either, simply treat yourself (I bloomin’ love that excuse) or gather the girls and have a little gift swap. However you decide to spend it, and even if you just need to give your man some hints, send him over to my blog for some gift ideas!

The obvious gift choice is Lush, it’s something that you just cannot go wrong with. Lush are so experienced in creating seasonal ranges and I think Valentines is one of my Favourites mainly for the oh so exciting unicorn horn. Just look at it, it’s so much fun and the whole unicorn theme has really taken off.

I own too much make up… are a bunch of words that I’ve never uttered, in fact I wouldn’t dream of it. Valentine’s calls for pink and red hues, a new make up routine requires a new purchase, right? I feel like I repeat myself over on this blog but I just adore the matte revolution lipsticks from Charlotte Tilbury and i’m currently lusting over the shade Love Liberty. If you’re spending your own cash or even picking out a gift and you want a bit more ‘choice’ than a single product I would suggest a make up palette, perhaps an eye shadow set, i’m still hearing raving reviews on the H&M beauty range.

One book circulating the blogger scene right now is Love Style Life by Grarance Dore, I would call this the more thoughtful gift of the lot – less materialistic if you like. It’s the perfect coffee table book, and what a great excuse to go ‘hey world, just stop for a sec, i’m gonna take 5 on the sofa’.

Other smaller gift ideas such as candle sets or heart printed stationary are a good idea. If you’re not taking Valentine’s too seriously and you’d prefer to pick up something with a bit more humour then be sure to head on over to Paperchase for quirky cards and presents.

Whether you’re showered with gifts from loved ones or simply spend the time with your head stuffed in a box of dairy milk chocolates (any excuse) just enjoy the day & share the love!

How lovely of you to drop by!
