December is in full swing and my diary is not slowing down, i’m donning my wings and embracing the true social butterfly that i am. Dinners, parties, work events you name it each weekend is planned to perfection with colleagues, family and friends. This can only mean one thing.. lashings of gorgeous red lippy and as much as it wouldn’t be the festive season without it, by the time 2016 kicks in i’m sure my pout will appreciate the break. Luckily for me the babes over at Benefit ever so kindly sent me a few little treats and one of which is the dreamy Lollibalm*.
I’m a huge Benefit fan anyway, i adore the packaging it’s so sickly girly – in a good way! I know that if i whipped this out in eye sight of another beauty lustin’ babe, then i’m sure i would be showered with compliments.
Not to be confused with a lipstick, this balm is light, completely nourishing and leaves just a hint of colour. Designed to soften lips and provide a sheer tint, this is the perfect dual beauty product. Use on it’s own or sweep over your favourite nude lippy for a glossy finish. For me, when using a balm i always crave that instant hydration and this product really delivers on that, the mango butter is the perfect ingredient for this. I have to say that in the past i have found certain ‘tinned’ balms do the opposite effect and leave me suffering so i can’t rave enough about the simple effects of this newly discovered balm.
This has taken prime place in my hand bag, it has replaced the usual suspects and with that winter chill creeping in i have found myself reaching for this more and more as my SOS product. Armed with my new favourite balm, i’m prepared for the NYE countdown… after a trip from Santa of course!
