The Favourites Edition: November 15

This month was a difficult choice, i had so many wonderful things to choose from – Birthdays are just great, aren’t they? Apart from all the cake and cocktails, of course, it’s very much all beauty this month.

I was lucky enough to get some really lovely gifts for my Birthday but there seemed to be a running theme in the form of Charlotte Tilbury – oh, by the way i’m not complaining! I have already featured a gorgeous new shade to my ever growing lipstick collection from the make up goddess which you can read up on here if you haven’t already but i wanted to share with you another Birthday treat. My lovely friend and blogger Tiffany Tales bought me something that she absolutely swears by and it’s the Powder & Sculpt  make up brush. Firstly, you just can’t deny how gorgeous all Charlotte Tilbury products are, i was almost too scared to use this – almost! I don’t know how i have ever lived without this, with the much needed help from this tapered brush i can achieve a near perfect highlight and contour, by my own admission i’m no expert but this brush certainly gives me a push in the right direction.

Speaking of contour, my second favourite is the newly discovered Define & Conquer Contour Kit from Seventeen. Again, another product i don’t know how i have managed without which you can see, it’s rather ‘well loved’. I’m late to the party with this one but for those like me who have yet to come across this product it’s a highlight and contour duo. The highlight is flawless and not an ounce of glitter in sight – hurrah! The contour is a lovely natural shade which is totally buildable and i am thankful for it giving me a ‘faux cheekbone’.

My last little favourite is something that i have purchased three times, yup i’m seriously  obsessed. It’s the Golden Handshake hot hand mask from Lush. I’m paying a lot of attention to my hands at the moment, i’m growing out my nails and with the colder months approaching i’m just giving my hands a little extra TLC. The idea is that you melt this little hand stamped ball of glitter into a tub of hot water, soak up all the gorgeous avocado and argan oils and lather them up in your hands for a soothing, nourishing result. Might i just add that this little treat is £2.50 so i have picked up a load for stocking fillers.

This months favourites was short and sweet but hold tight for next month as i’ll be in my new home so expect a brand new set up… and a Christmas tree!

How lovely of you to drop by!
