The Beauty Edition: Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution Lipstick Winter Shade

I’ve been very lucky in that my recent Birthday has presented me with some absolutely wonderful gifts, some of which from Charlotte Tilbury, you know when you spy that gorgeous purple packaging you have been a spoilt little lady.

I have been on the hunt for a signature berry lipstick for a while now but my search is finally over! I have made it no secret that the Charlotte Tilbury Matte Revolution lipsticks are incredible, the formula is something special and i dedicated an entire post to my first ever purchase here. My newest edition ‘Glastonberry’ is the definition of Autumnal, it’s a beautiful deep berry colour and it really compliments my paler skin tone. There is a real ‘rock n roll’ vibe to this deeper hue and i love it, paired with a bold brow this beauty look is fast becoming my favourite.

There is only one teeny snag to this particular colour, it does pick up on any dry patches more so than others i have tried so make sure you give a good ol’ scrub before application. I have spotted a base product on the website called Lip Magic and this is designed to nourish the lips before applying the lipstick which sounds like the perfect pairing to me so i might pop this on my Christmas list.

I wore Glastonberry on a recent night out for my Birthday and received so many compliments, you can have a peek at me dressed up to the nines over on my Instagram

I’ll be the first to admit that i’m a little bit of a snob when it comes to packaging and i have no complaints with this one. The rose gold is vanity table worthy, it’s definitely a show off piece – especially when you have a few stacked together and at this rate i’m certainly starting a collection.

So, I’ve got the ultimate classic red and now the perfect winter shade, i have decided that my next purchase has got to be a nude. I’m looking for something chic to pair with a glittery eye over the festive holidays, i would love to hear your suggestions?

How lovely of you to drop by!
