The Beauty Edition: Soap and Glory Haul

Soap and Glory are fast becoming one of my favourite go to brands, well known for creamy body butters and gorgeous scrubs, every girl gets a gift set in their stocking from Santa. I have recently been drawn to the beauty side of the brand as the make up products i have been trying out are totally on point right now.

The Brow Archery pencil is my holy grail! This has been a firm favourite in my make up bag for quite some time, i think i have gone through about six of these so far. It’s effectively a dupe of the Anastasia Brow Wiz and when I say dupe I mean EXACTLY the same yet a small fraction of the price. The retractable tip is thin so it’s ideal for creating a more natural brow with fine pencil strokes which is something i have been giving a try lately but don’t fear, if you want to go bold then it’s also a perfect product for more of a ‘build up’ application.

I’m an absolute sucker for a classic winged liner look and the next two products go hand in hand to create the desired cat flick. I have tried tonnes of different types of liners, it’s all a case of trial and error but i personally find a ‘felt tip’ pen the easiest application. The Supercat eyeliner has ultimate staying power but i do like to set my lids first with a primer, it’s an important step in my book, there is nothing worse than those dreaded black smudges that make an appearance in the crease of your lid. It’s About Prime has a lovely creamy texture, just dab it on with the stick and wait a few moments for it to sink in. It looks completely natural and sets to a skin like colour, it creates a perfect base for the eyeliner which by the way gets a big thumbs up from me. You have to work pretty fast with it because it does dry incredibly quickly but once it’s applied i can assure you it won’t budge. I cannot fault the quality of Soap and Glory products and i’m desperate to get my hands on the Solar Powder.

It seems that everybody on the beauty scene is raving about Soap and Glory right now and the high street brand is certainly giving more high end products a run for their money!

How lovely of you to drop by!
