It was only recently that i thought to myself ‘girl, you need some new wrist candy’ after lusting over Pinterest pics of festival friendly bracelets, and then funnily enough the cutest most delicate parcel landed on my doorstep.
Birchbox kindly sent me the Light Bracelet* by Stella and Dot, first of all let’s state the obvious reason why this piece of jewellery is perfect for me, can you guess? It’s silver hardware! There’s nothing i dream about more, it’s my absolute favourite, there’s just something so vintage to me about silver detailing. There’s a second reason why i adore this bracelet although i won’t leave you guessing this one, it’s nickel free… you might be thinking why is this so important to me? Well, i’m allergic to nickel, i actually had an awful skin reaction to a watch a couple of years ago, not the most pleasant experience so now i am often on the hunt for quality nickel free jewellery. This is the most dainty little thing i have ever set my eyes on, it’s half chain half chord, there are cute gem like beads attached onto a double chain with an adjustable knot closure detail. It’s a lovely little piece, perfect on it’s own as a statement or even nicer stacked up with other bracelets for a stylish addition to an outfit.
You can purchase the bracelet direct from Stella and Dot for £19.00, although if bracelets aren’t your thing there are plenty of other products to lust over. I’m completely in love with their rings, especially the stackable ones, the attention to detail is just so damn stunning! Featured in Vogue and created by New York designers the collection screams modern, simplistic and definitely edgy. If you’re feeling like a bit of a splurge check out the handbag section too, go on treat yourself.
Stella and Dot are famous for their ‘Host a Trunk Show’ which basically gives you the opportunity to throw a jewellery party in the comfort of your own home, how fab does that sounds? Go ahead, grab the girls, a bottle of bubbles and lust over some seriously affordable gems.
