The Food Edition: Brunch at Chiltern Firehouse Marleybone

There’s nothing i love more than a stroll around London in search of some dreamy cocktails. You only need to mention the word ‘Bellini’ and myself and friend Tiffany Tales are on a mission!

I’ve been wanting to try out Chiltern Firehouse in Marleybone since seeing some Instagram worthy drinks, having booked in advance we were holding out for an outside table. You walk past The Courtyard on the way in and it’s so damn pretty, the seating area was hidden by beautiful flower boxes, gorgeous balcony style seats and marble topped tables, i was looking forward to a relaxing afternoon of sunning myself sippin’ on bubbles. Unfortunately the welcome wasn’t as warm as the weather that day! After being snapped at by front of house when politely asked to be seated within The Courtyard the mood just fell flat from there, we were begrudgingly placed outside and left alone for too long and by this time i was desperate for a cocktail. Putting the unfriendly service aside the cocktails themselves were delightful, really refreshing and pretty enough for a snap or two. The food was really good, it was early afternoon so brunch was on the cards and i have to say my eggs were cooked to perfection, we also indulged in mini crab stuffed doughnuts and i genuinely could have inhaled ten of these yummy treats. I’ve just got to have that recipe!

The Courtyard is the selling point, a well known celeb hang out and i can see why, if you can blag a table without getting your head bitten off then i would definitely recommend an afternoon tipple here in the summer sun.
