I fell in love with the ‘Miss 1975’ look within the range and the one product (initially that is, i want them all) that caught my eye was the Matte Revolution Lipsticks i went for the shade 1975 Red. After hearing so many good things about the formula i just had to give this a go and as a lover of the classic red lip this shade was just made for me.
Firstly, the packaging… who would have thought a lipstick could be packaged so beautifully, the rose gold detailing is just stunning and really gives that luxury look. The lipstick is designed to create an illusion of a fuller pout, something we all crave thanks to Kylie Jenner, the angled tip eliminates the need for a brush application you can just go straight from the bullet. The colour itself is described as ’70’s sunset red’ which is spot on, it’s a gorgeous orange toned red which is so chic and the perfect accompaniment to my flame locks. Priced at £23.00 this lipstick is more on the high end side but the quality is so there. I wore this on one of the hottest days in London, sipped on cocktails and munched through eggs florentine and didn’t need a reapplication, the staying power is so worth the spend.
Thanks to this new range my wishlist is currently off the scale, what to try next?
