THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: MARCH GOALS & A CATCH UP

Well, it feels like it has been a roller coaster few weeks, even months I would say. I really haven’t had much stability or routine and I think a lot of the decisions I have been making have been pretty big ones. It has felt a little daunting and that comes with it’s stresses, emotionally and financially. For me, March finally brings that light I have been waiting for at the end of the tunnel. I’m finally started to feel settled and assured in the decisions I have been making. January through to February always feels a little ‘meh’ anyway. Low moods after Christmas. You kind of…

THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: NAVIGATING GRIEF

‘Grief, I’ve learned, is really just love. It’s all the love you want to give but cannot. All of that unspent love gathers up in the corners of your eyes, the lump in your throat, and in that hollow part of your chest. Grief is just love with no place to go’.   It was really hard to title this post. Yes, it’s about grief and how we deal with that. I say navigate because calling this something like ‘a way out of grief’ just sounds so wrong. There is no way out. It sticks to you like glue. It never really goes away, ever. I decided…

THE STYLE EDITION: A SPRING WARDROBE UPDATE

It’s funny to title this as a spring update, at the very beginning of March but hey, this little sprinkling of sunshine has given us all some strong spring vibes, right? (plus that means we’re closer to Easter egg season). I ordered my first iced latte the other weekend and it definitely ‘hit the spot’. It made me crave getting into the swing of summer. So much so, I decided to plan a whole weekend stay in Bath with my boyfriend in a few months time. Sunshine just does great things, doesn’t it? With that said, I popped into Primark for a little fashion refresh. It feels…

THE LIFESTYLE EDITION: MONTH IN CAMERA ROLL

It hasn’t been that long since my last camera roll post. Although, given the month was rather short, I can let myself off? I actually have lots of posts up my sleeve for the next coming weeks. Fortunately I have a little bit of time on my hands as I’m kind of in an ‘in-between jobs’ moment. It’s not as complicated as it sounds, I’m leaving my current job for another, yet I hadn’t bagged the new role at the time (brave). So, there is going to be a gap! A la lots of blogging. Maybe I’ll treat the time like I’m an actual full time blogger?…

THE STYLE EDITION: SNEAKY SNAKE PRINT AND WHY I COULDN’T AVOID IT

Like a moth to a flame, it was truly meant to be. Avoiding faux snake print was like cutting out carbs. A lot of initial will power but always gives in. With every style focused hashtag on Instagram championing this strong style trend, it would have been almost a crime not to join in. Admittedly, I have always gone against this kind of advice. Against the grain is my main fashion motto. But, when I found a piece that I could take from casual and cool to office bad ass, it made the decision a whole load easier. . I’m a little rusty with my style posts,…
