If anyone was to be crowned Queen of make up Charlotte Tilbury would be a clear front runner, her creations are in every bloggers beauty bag right now and with recent hype over the beautiful Film Star Bronze and Glow her success is rocketing. Her newest collection boasts vintage vixen, influenced by iconic images by Norman Parkinson this limited collection is set to storm this summer.

I fell in love with the ‘Miss 1975’ look within the range and the one product (initially that is, i want them all) that caught my eye was the Matte Revolution Lipsticks i went for the shade 1975 Red. After hearing so many good things about the formula i just had to give this a go and as a lover of the classic red lip this shade was just made for me.

Firstly, the packaging… who would have thought a lipstick could be packaged so beautifully, the rose gold detailing is just stunning and really gives that luxury look. The lipstick is designed to create an illusion of a fuller pout, something we all crave thanks to Kylie Jenner, the angled tip eliminates the need for a brush application you can just go straight from the bullet. The colour itself is described as ’70’s sunset red’ which is spot on, it’s a gorgeous orange toned red which is so chic and the perfect accompaniment to my flame locks. Priced at £23.00 this lipstick is more on the high end side but the quality is so there. I wore this on one of the hottest days in London, sipped on cocktails and munched through eggs florentine and didn’t need a reapplication, the staying power is so worth the spend.

Thanks to this new range my wishlist is currently off the scale, what to try next?
